Sue: General Manager
I was previously Sales and Operations Planning Director at LINPAC Packaging before joining Doric FPD in January 2015. With 19 years of packaging manufacturing experience my role is to manage the continuous improvement of processes and procedures on site. Outside of work I love to spend quality time with my Family.

Andy : Supply Chain Manager
My job involves liaising with suppliers, ensuring the correct volumes of raw materials are available for production, and looking after the internal stock lines. I enjoy being part of the team at Doric and the continuous challenge of improving our internal systems and customer service. Outside of work I enjoy football and working out in the gym.

Martyn: Production Planner
This is a new role for Doric FPD. I have only been with the company for less than a year and I am finding it exciting, challenging and rewarding, as I am setting up new ways of planning the Woodshop to meet and improve on the business needs. I am looking forward to expanding across the rest of the factory and the opportunity’s this will bring. In private I am a keen to explore the outdoors and like to spend time walking, caravanning, camping and cycling with the family.

Dave: Senior Manufacturing Manager
My role varies daily aligned to the needs of the business. The range of activities change daily which makes the job more interesting. The continuing growth of the business creates great opportunities and challenges which enable the team to develop and grow with the company. Every day brings different opportunities making each day interesting to say the least. Outside of work I enjoy Digital photography and in particular turning an average photo into something special in Photoshop. I also enjoy spending time with my Grandchildren, having family gatherings - which is usually either a Barby or Curry night.

Gary : Continuous Improvement Supervisor
I work closely with the Senior Manufacturing Manager ,implementing and driving Lean Principles and Continuous Improvement strategies throughout operations all across the site; this is in tandem with being involved or leading dedicated projects, which include data capture, training, process mapping and staff development to name but a few. The company is rapidly growing and every day brings new and exciting challenges, my role varies to co-inside with the needs of the business. Outside of work I play amateur Rugby League, as does my Son ....so basically almost every weekend 7 months of the year ,I am either playing rugby or watching my son play rugby !! Me and the wife love a coffee afternoon and also enjoy walking our little Yorkshire Terrier “Arnie”.

I have a ‘hands on’ role on the shop floor where I plan, progress and monitor production of Doric products. I enjoy the challenge and the friendly people I work with. Outside of work I like to spend time with my grandchildren and go on long walks with my partner and our border terrier, Ben.

Peter: Production Supervisor
The core function of the role I hold at Doric FPD is to manage multi-shift teams in several departments to achieve productivity, quality and targets. This involves co-ordinating people, product and equipment to ensure a safe, consistent, profitable and smooth running shift. This is achieved by a thorough understanding and awareness of the operation; analysing and processing data; excellent people skills; quick effective decision making and organising. Outside of work I like to be involved with sports, promoting live events, discovering new music and I like to spend time with my partner especially on holiday abroad as well as visiting family members.

I have previously worked mainly within the food production industry and worked for Northern Foods for 10 years. As a result of this, I am familiar with a quite a few of Doric’s customers. As a Shift Supervisor at Doric I have responsibility for prioritising manufacturing workload and ensure that company products are manufactured to meet the requirements of the business and to customer specification. I am also responsible for managing manufacturing costs and Key Performance Indicators including direct labour cost, wastage and production inefficiencies. Outside of work, I am a self-confessed Costa coffee addict and like to set myself goals on home improvements, usually funded by the Bank of Husband, who also acts as ‘gopher’ in sourcing the materials! I also love spending time with my family, and my 3 children ensure there’s never a dull (or quiet!) moment.

I am a sales manager for the Doric Group which means each day is incredibly varied. I spend time with customers from all of the Doric companies and have been able to build up relationships with customers along the way, which makes my job a real pleasure. I have over 20 years’ experience within the packaging industry which I hope enables me to come up with new ideas when called for. I find this industry involves a real learning curve as we all strive towards sustainable packaging. Outside of Work I have a busy life with three children. Time permitting I play squash and I am a fair weather dinghy sailor which I enjoy racing at weekends.

Linda: Customer Service Manager
I’m currently learning about our customers so that I can help to improve customer service we provide. I enjoy the challenges of working in a forward thinking Company with diverse products and customers - and of course the people! Outside of work, I love the outdoors including walking, horse riding and skiing (when I get the chance) plus eating out and lovely holidays!

Ryan: Sales Administrator
My role is to help current and potential customers with any questions that they may have. I also arrange samples for customers and put on sales orders. I enjoy my role because everyday is different and you don’t know what request you are going to get next. I enjoy helping people and this role allows me to do that, it is a great feeling knowing that you have helped a customer find a way around a problem that they were facing. In my spare time I enjoy watching/playing Football and Basketball, I also enjoy travelling something which I am hoping to do a lot more of in the coming years

My job is a new role to Doric which involves working on new products coming into the business. It is a very varied role, and I work with our customers and colleagues from across all different parts of the business to ensure that products are launched on time and to the correct specification. I am enjoying learning about the business and the products, and working with the great team of people at Doric! Out of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and socialising.

My work varies from day to day. I have worked for the company for about 17 years, so I have a lot of experience on all types of machinery. One day I could be doing safe system of work or guillotining, the next, I could be running a complex packaging machine. I enjoy the good team ethic at Doric. Outside of work, I have a passion for Lambretta's. I have been riding them since the early 80’s on weekend trips around the UK and Europe. It’s great to meet people from around the world and make new friends

I offer support to production to ensure standards are maintained and continuously improved. It is a fun and friendly atmosphere to work in. Prior to my appointment to this role I was working on the factory floor at Doric FPD for just over a year so understand the process controls involved within the business. Outside work I enjoy spending time with my partner and two children. I take every opportunity I can to both watch and play football.

Working with a forward looking team across the Group ensures life at Doric is interesting and enjoyable. Outside of work, spending time with my family is important to me as is volunteering for charity work which keeps me busy. I enjoy doing DIY work around the house and look forward to the summers when the days are long and the sun makes people happier.

I love my varied role as the company Credit controller. My main jobs are to monitor our customers accounts, contact customers when the payments become overdue and set credit limits. As the Accounts team leader I deal with any issues that may arise within our purchase ledger team and support the team to help the team run smoothly. I enjoy being part of a small financial team and I love the fact the two days are not the same. In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with husband and two young children.
